Eviction Exercises in the City Require Approval from Senior Police Officers, Not Junior Officers

People who are using police to facilitate their eviction in the National Capital District and Central province are warned to follow the right process to engage police officers if they need police assistance.
The Commander of NCD and Central Provinces, Chief Superintendent Benjamin Turi, had issued a warning to all police officers in his command that no eviction must be carried out by police officers without approval from his office. He directed the NCD Metropolitan Superintendent or Central Provincial Police Commander to assign police units to assist in carrying out evictions.

Goilalas Along Hiritano Highway Warned Against Disturbing Travelling Public

NCD/Central Commander Turi told both sides of these people who had been fighting amongst themselves that their problem is their problem and it had come to the attention of the police and police will assit them to investigate and apprehend those who are involved in the killing of more than five people.
He said the highway must be free and it must be free always for the travelling public.
